Despite the technological advances humanity made in the last century or so, food poverty remains a striking reality of our times. Food poverty is affecting millions of people around the world. Hunger means a consistent lack of enough food to meet basic nutritional needs. People at risk of food poverty face tough choices every day, having to decide whether to pay household bills, buy medicine or buy food. Food poverty affects the most vulnerable in our communities, our elderly and our children, our disabled or people who for different reasons have to rely on our benefit system. Food poverty is the unspoken secret around our neighbourhoods.

At MGR Removals, we believe that food, no matter how humble, has the power to transform lives and to restore faith in our communities. We believe that it is our duty to give back something to our community. That is why we have pledged to donate regularly to our local food banks.
